Building Envelope: a look at the upcoming events at MADE expo

The highlights of the upcoming edition of MADE expo will focus not only on current events but also at the future of the industry, with content and proposals in line with the evolution of the envelope world in order to accompany professionals and businesses toward new working scenarios.

MADE expo will unfold through a full calendar of meetings, workshops and seminars, exploring ideas and emerging trends in their respective sectors. During the various sessions, led by internationally renowned experts and speakers, all the topics of the most pressing current affairs will be covered in detail, focusing on trends and market prospects, as well as project advancements related to the PNRR, building bonuses and quality of living. It is an unmissable opportunity to acquire a clear and informed view of the industry's evolutions.

 

The Place to Be - The initiative for governing the complexity of the energy transition in construction.

Hosting the second edition of the initiative will be two large "squares" designed as a place of interaction and cross-pollination and an active space for participation and sharing regarding the many issues that can be traced back to the relationship between construction, innovation and the transition to sustainability. Created in collaboration with Agora, the initiative will develop starting from the theme “Governing the complexity of the energy transition in construction” and will unfold along a multidisciplinary path of meetings grouped by themes that will propose insights and reflections on the process of building change from different angles. Several topics will be at the center of the debate, including:

- the circular economy, along with new economic models that are based on innovative technologies and processes;

- building facades, recognized as iconic elements and crucial architectural workshops in modern design;   digitization and modernization of construction sites;

- the PNRR and its impact on the professions market;

- the role of new materials in construction;

- the new procurement code with regulatory updates.

RE-REGENERATION|REAL ESTATE

Real estate and the manufacturing supply chain meet at ME 2023: a dozen interlocutors, leaders in terms of change, representing institutions, the world of planning, developers and builders but also new professions, will bring value and illustrate the latest in the sector.

The cycle will be presented in three 'episodes' dedicated to the world of real estate: starting with the Italian scenario, moving on to the transformation of the hospitality sector, and concluding with a focus on Milan. Find out more about the program

Young people and industry come face to face to talk about sustainability

The start of 2023 saw the first edition of the Call for Challenges - Design for circularity, the design challenge that the Milan Politecnico School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Construction Engineering launched in early 2023, in collaboration with ME-MADE expo to promote the development of innovative and sustainable concepts centered on the circular economy, environmental sustainability and process innovation. The project, open to lecturers and students in order to strengthen the dialogue between the world of education and the industrial sector, saw the participation of more than 50 students and 7 exhibiting companies. The final result will be presented in the 'Millennial Space' on Nov. 15 and 16, as part of the Construction Show.
