Made in Italy can count on a new flagship: the Restoration industry Assorestauro will be present for the first time at ME-MADE EXPO 2023 with Agorà Restauro an exhibition area dedicated to the preservation companies and a wide agenda of cultural events, with Italian and international institutions, widely open to the building construction sector.
Agorà Restauro along four days will host talks, workshop, b2b meetings and many events to promote the excellences of Italian preservation.
A growing sector: More and more in fact, the conservation and valorisation of cultural heritage will be at the centre of public policies for the promotion of cultural tourism, in Italy and abroad. Restoration has a strong economic impact in preserving cultural identity and making history value available to citizens and visitors.
The unique Italian model: In Italy, more than 40% of the built heritage can be considered historic.
That means hundreds of thousands Italian buildings do not need a simple renovation, but a careful restoration, an intervention that combines historical-critical reading skills with innovative techniques and materials. Italy has created a unique model, a real industry has grown up in our Country. A dedicated supply chain develops materials, technologies and specific skills for this area, constituting an economic model that has no equal yet.
Skills recognized around the world: For decades, Assorestauro together with Italian Trade Agency has been organizing training workshops worldwide in UNESCO sites, restoring important religious monuments, organizing visits to restoration sites as in the annual event Restoration Week. Conflicts, seismic events, natural disasters are more and more affecting the historic buildings, rebuild them in a competent way is the key to preserving important pieces of culture and history.
Open to the world: Agorà Restauro will also host international companies and agencies interested in promoting their services and products in Italy
