An exclusive project for the Interiors and Finishes Exhibition at MADE expo 2019

The Elle Decor Design Box, the surprising exhibition created exclusively for MADE expo by Elle Decoration and the architects Calvi & Brambilla allows visitors to enjoy new sensory experiences through interaction with professional finishing products.

The two installations that make up the ELLE DECOR DESIGN BOX will be sited in the centre of Pavilions 5 and 7 in the heart of the MADE Interiors and Finishes Exhibition

An experiential place in which to get carried away by tactile, visual and chromatic emotions

An experiential place in which to get carried away by tactile, visual and chromatic emotions

A concept conceived by ELLE DECOR and designed by the Milan Calvi Brambilla studio to give a range of surprising expressions demonstrating the infinite possibilities of the materials on display and the definition of domestic spaces and social places through surfaces able to generate emotions, expressive details and brand new finishes.

A ‘Lantern’ defined by transparent surfaces and opaque panels able to provoke interest and curiosity without revealing the precious contents within. Once inside, visitors will find themselves in a world of surprises, an expression of all the potential that materials and finishes are able to offer. In the centre, a circular maze (a nod to revisited Italian-style gardens) will highlight numerous patterns and coating solutions while surrounding it, much like small architectural folies, 8 typical rooms will present 8 different ways of enjoying materials in a domestic context. In the adjoining pavilion, connected to the lantern by a carpet that emphasizes continuity between the two exhibition areas, an info space/lounge will offer moments of relaxation and in-depth analysis.
