MADE expo has participated with its own stand at the BIG 5 in order to promote the participation of professionals and companies involved in the Gulf in the new edition of MADE 2015 that will take place at the Fiera Milano Rho, with a brand new date:18_21 March, just before the beginning of the World Expo 2015.
A lot of exhibitors and professional visitors, attending our stand at the BIG 5, have shown great interest in the key points of MADE expo.
MADE expo is more and more international and represents one of the most important european platforms for making business worldwide.
This year’s MADE expo was a huge success for building construction firms and professionals alike, who clearly welcomed the decision to make the event more specialised, expand its international reach and schedule the show every two years starting from 2013. An impressive 35,619 trade visitors from all over the world were in attendance this year, up 14% compared to 2012 and accounting for 17% of the total 211,105 visitors to MADE expo 2013.
MADE expo has decided to reposition itself on the international trade fair calendar: starting with the 2015 edition, the event will be staged in odd years, in the month of March.
Holding the event in March gives MADE expo a real edge over other building construction shows in Europe, and staging it every two years will arguably rationalise the Italian trade fair offering, giving companies a single event in the first quarter of the year at which to make new product announcements and plan their marketing and sales campaigns accordingly.
The next MADE expo will take place shortly before EXPO 2015, providing valuable insights into the many aspects of sustainability that the universal exposition will not only delve into but also reflect in its architecture and buildings.
MADE expo will actually leverage the EXPO 2015 phenomenon: the venue will be a veritable concentration of the very latest architectural and construction breakthroughs, and excitingly, could offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to arrange professionally guided tours of the site before the official opening date.
Thanks to this decision and the new options now materialising to boost interaction with international markets and operators, MADE expo is continuing to raise its profile as a trade fair and a valuable business ally for architecture and the building industry. As well, 2014 will be a memorable year, featuring a large number of industry specific initiatives to be held primarily abroad. The focus will of course be on MADE expo, the March show that will run in odd years at the Milan Fairgrounds Rho.

“We want a normal country; this was the strong request made by the president of Confindustria Squinzi when he opened MADE expo – says Giovanni De Ponti, Managing Director of MADE expo – and it is with this same request that we close our event, though I must say that considering the success achieved, we can look to the future with optimism. During the four event days, companies were able to meet their customers, but above all they made new contacts with the most qualified international operators. Inside the pavilions, we could sense the desire to know more, be informed and become acquainted with the latest technologies, an unmistakable sign of optimism and confidence from visitors and exhibitors, which see MADE expo as a qualified opportunity to do business and a concrete chance of re-launching the industry”.The sixth MADE expo event was visited by 211,105 people, 35,619 of whom from abroad: a major achievement for the entire construction industry, which sees the appointment as an international benchmark event.
European Commission Vice President Antonio Tajan visits MADE expo yesterday.
He warmly shakes hands with Giovanni De Ponti, CEO of MADEexpo, Roberto Snaidero, President of FederLegnoArredo (Wood-workers Guild), and Giorgio Squinzi, President of Confindustria (Association of Italian Industries), at the Mapei stand, thus proving their common will to promote the construction industry at an international level, overcoming bureaucratic difficulties and fostering Made in Italy abroad.
A lot of visitors that crowded the stands, a positive atmosphere between exhibitors: this is the second day of MADE expo 2013.
